Job Description

The Lab Technician 4 will be responsible for supporting lab engineering and validation activities by managing test systems, hardware setups, and day-to-day lab operations. The role involves close collaboration with engineering and validation teams to ensure reliable test execution and timely issue resolution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lab systems, platforms, and test racks
  • Support for device bring-up, system health checks, and validation activities
  • Handling, tracking, and maintenance of test samples and lab assets
  • Coordination with engineers for test requirements and execution support
  • Ensuring compliance with lab safety, ESD, and operational procedures
  • Basic debugging of hardware, connectivity, and system-level issues
  • Documentation of lab procedures, configurations, and support activities

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in lab operations or hardware validation support
  • Strong understanding of lab equipment, test platforms, and hardware components
  • Experience with system setup, cabling, power, and thermal environments
  • Familiarity with Linux/Windows systems and basic command-line usage
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Awareness of ESD, safety standards, and lab best practices
