Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Technologist, Memory Design Engineering to join our innovative team in Shinagawa City, Japan. In this critical role, you will lead the development of cutting-edge memory solutions, pushing the boundaries of technology and performance.
- Spearhead the design and architecture of advanced memory systems for next-generation products
- Develop and optimize memory circuits to meet performance, power, and area targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate memory solutions into complex system-on-chip (SoC) designs
- Conduct detailed analysis and debugging of memory designs using advanced simulation and verification tools
- Stay abreast of emerging memory technologies and contribute to the company's technology roadmap
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership to the memory design team
- Participate in technical reviews and present design concepts to senior management and customers
- Drive innovation through research and development of novel memory architectures and circuit techniques
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in memory design engineering, with a proven track record of successful product development
- Advanced knowledge of memory design and architecture, including DRAM, SRAM, and Flash technologies
- Expertise in VLSI design tools and methodologies
- Proficiency in circuit design and simulation software
- Strong programming skills, particularly in hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL
- In-depth understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Experience with emerging memory technologies and industry trends
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Japanese is highly desirable
