Job Description

Sandisk is looking for a Senior Brand Manager, Global Consumer Solutions. As a Senior Brand Manager at Sandisk, you will lead strategy and execution for consumer segments, driving growth and differentiation in a competitive market. You will lead cross-functional initiatives that shape how our products are perceived and experienced by customers. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong executional skills, and a passion for consumer behavior and brand storytelling.

This role is critical in driving awareness of our storage solutions – including SSDs, USBs and memory cards across global markets.

This role bridges brand management with product marketing, ensuring that our consumer technology offerings are positioned effectively and resonate with target audiences - both tech-savvy and everyday users - across global markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Portfolio and Product

  • Develop and execute strategies for consumer segments that align with company goals and market dynamics.
  • Define and infuse brand architecture, positioning, and identity into consumer segment portfolios.
  • Champion the voice of the customer and ensure brand consistency across all touch points.

Market Analysis & Insights

  • Collaborate with the research team to conduct deep market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer needs.
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies that inform product development, messaging, and campaign planning.

Product Positioning & Messaging

  • Partner with Product Managers to define product value propositions and translate technical features into compelling consumer benefits.
  • Develop messaging frameworks and creative briefs to support the development of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure messaging consistency across digital, retail, packaging, and experiential channels.

Marketing Campaign Development & Execution

  • Collaborate with Creative Directors and Brand Marketing to develop integrated campaigns that drive awareness and conversion.
  • Oversee campaign execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and KPIs are met.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness and report on ROI and brand health metrics.
  • Develop the strategies for launching the product and driving its adoption.
  • Working with the Global Campaign function, internal creative resources and external agency teams, own the creation of global marketing toolkits including messaging guides, campaigns and assets for new product introductions.

Sales Enablement & Go-to-Market

  • Create sales enablement tools including product one-pagers, training decks, and competitive battlecards.
  • Support product launches with coordinated go-to-market plans and internal communications.
  • Monitor performance and optimize strategies based on feedback and analytics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead cross-functional team alignment, including with Product, Creative, PR, Digital, and Sales to align on brand strategy and execution.
  • Act as a strategic partner to regional marketing teams to localize brand efforts and ensure global consistency.

Qualifications

Education/Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in brand management, product marketing, or consumer marketing.
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and launching consumer products.

Personal Competencies

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior and brand development.
  • Experience with market research tools and performance analytics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience working in a global organization.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, e-commerce, and retail environments.

  • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York.  This range may be modified in the future.
  • You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance.  Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
