Job Description

In this position, the individual provide leadership in a highly visible role as product development team lead for NAND component products. The individual will provide innovative and cost competitive memory solutions with shortest time to market. This individual will work on alignment of product roadmap with customer and business team on ongoing basis. The individual will be responsible for the product specs, development, qualification support. This individual will work effectively across many internal organizations including memory design, device engineering, product & test engineering, wafer fab, FAE, quality, operations, marketing and executive management. The individual will collaborate on new processes and improving current processes and represent our team at key meetings and on problem identification and resolution activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The individual will lead product development team on developing, qualifying, and ramping NAND Wafer and component products.
  • Prepare and manage assigned sections of program schedule during planning phase, create and be accountable for the overall plan for the engineering activities and identify dependencies with other functions.
  • Host regular cross-functional team meetings and drive cross-functional team to meet the product spec and schedule requirements.
  • Play key role to resolve issues and escalate unresolved issues to the product line core team.
  • Act as the product line core team’s voice in technology meetings and coordinate technical reviews of NAND memory readiness and provide peer performance feedback for memory team members.
  • Request, prepare, and review technical documents for product development and customer applications, including datasheet, app notes, qual reports, models, etc.
  • Evaluate the engineering results from many internal engineering teams to assure accomplishment of technical objectives.
  • Prepare and present reports outlining the outcome of technical projects and makes recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results.
  • Interface with customer to align the NAND product specs, product development schedule and roadmaps. Understand and assess the challenges and risks associated with customer’s requirements.
  • Support customer on solving various technical problems.

Qualifications

    • This position requires an advanced degree with 5+ years of related experience in NAND or semiconductor industry.
    • Experience of engineering program management is a plus.
    • Experience as a technical lead or experience in working with cross-functional team is a plus.
    • The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic and limited resource environment.
    • Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge and understanding of business unit strategic goals is a plus.
