ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking highly motivated university students to learn and contribute hands-on while working with our Automation teams. This is a great opportunity to get exposure into the world of Automation development Engineering. 

We are recruiting for the following Auto Pick and place project:

• Assembly and setup the UR5 / UR10 CB3 Model robotic arm and Onsemi vacuum Gripper.
• Integrate and set-up the RGB-D camera.
• Basic knowledge of the hardware library installation.
• Install and set-up Ubuntu22.04 in Industry PC.
• Develop the Robot software with ROS 2 Humble platform which can command and control all the hardware component at the same time.
• Camera and Robotic arm calibration.
• Implement machine models to detect and recognize the object with distance estimation and algorithm development.
• Enable Robot pick and place activities with object recognition function without any error.

REQUIRED:

• Degree in computer science, EE or mechatronics Engineering, or another quantitative discipline
• He/She has deep technical programming knowledge such as C++/C#, Python, assembly language visual studio code.
• Capable to work independently with Automation technician and engineer.

SKILLS:

• Basic knowledge of ROS 2.
• Possess strong knowledge in robotic system troubleshooting and process control.
• Experience in fundamental robotic software architecture module, system integration and design.
