Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking highly motivated university students to learn and contribute hands-on while working with our Automation teams. This is a great opportunity to get exposure into the world of Automation development Engineering.
We are recruiting for the following Auto Pick and place project:
- Assembly and setup the UR5 / UR10 CB3 Model robotic arm and Onsemi vacuum Gripper.
- Integrate and set-up the RGB-D camera.
- Basic knowledge of the hardware library installation.
- Install and set-up Ubuntu22.04 in Industry PC.
- Develop the Robot software with ROS 2 Humble platform which can command and control all the hardware component at the same time.
- Camera and Robotic arm calibration.
- Implement machine models to detect and recognize the object with distance estimation and algorithm development.
- Enable Robot pick and place activities with object recognition function without any error.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Degree in computer science, EE or mechatronics Engineering, or another quantitative discipline
- He/She has deep technical programming knowledge such as C++/C#, Python, assembly language visual studio code.
- Capable to work independently with Automation technician and engineer.
SKILLS:
- Basic knowledge of ROS 2.
- Possess strong knowledge in robotic system troubleshooting and process control.
- Experience in fundamental robotic software architecture module, system integration and design.
