Job Description

As an ASIC SoC Architect, you'll be at the forefront of designing and developing cutting-edge System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions that will shape the future of data storage. Your expertise in SoC definition, IP integration, and architecture will be pivotal in driving innovation and excellence across our high-performance storage products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the architectural design and development of ASIC SoC solutions, focusing on system-level requirements and overall SoC architecture.
  • Define and develop detailed architectural specifications for SoC designs.
  • Collaborate with System Architects, Firmware, and Product Development teams to ensure the development of best-in-class products.
  • Drive the IP integration process, ensuring seamless integration of both digital and analog components.
  • Work closely with design, verification, and software teams to ensure smooth functionality and performance of integrated systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to design and verification engineers.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate IP blocks and technology solutions for SoC design implementation.
  • Oversee and drive the optimization of power, performance, and area (PPA) metrics for SoC designs.
  • Manage SRAM and clock architecture to ensure timing, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Ensure optimal physical design aspects, including floorplan, timing, power domains, and other physical considerations.
  • Identify and resolve architectural issues and bottlenecks during the design and development process.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and methodologies in SoC design.
  • Innovate and integrate cutting-edge storage solutions, including SD Express, Compact Flash, and PCIe.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in ASIC SoC architecture.
  • Strong experience with IP integration, SRAM and clock architecture, and physical design considerations.
  • Proficiency in SoC design methodologies and tools.
  • Expertise in power, performance, and area (PPA) trade-offs.
  • Experience with high-speed interface design and integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for innovation and excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other high-speed interfaces (e.g., PCIe, USB, Ethernet).
  • Knowledge of low-power design techniques.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for automation.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or mentorship role.
