Job Description
The Inside Sales Specialist is a critical role responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive engagement and support of customers purchasing through our B2B eCommerce platform and direct manufacture resellers. This position acts as a trusted advisor, providing product expertise, sales enablement, and operational support to these strategic accounts. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads to drive sales of Sandisk storage solutions through our online channel. You will be the first point of contact for potential business customers, educating them on our products and guiding them through the eCommerce platform experience. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of B2B sales processes and a passion for technology. We are hiring this role as a hybrid position (2-3 days in office) and the in office portion will be located at the Sandisk Headquarters in Milpitas, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Inside Sales Support:
- Qualify incoming eCommerce leads based on established criteria, including company size, industry, needs, and market dynamics.
- Proactively identify and qualify sales opportunities within assigned reseller accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and pipeline status in CRM systems.
- Forecast sales performance and provide regular reports to management
- Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- eCommerce Platform Expertise:
- Become a subject matter expert on the Sandisk B2B eCommerce platform, including its features, functionalities, and benefits.
- Guide potential customers through the platform, providing assistance with account creation, product selection, and order placement.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to the eCommerce platform.
- Sales Outreach and Communication:
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to engage potential customers.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations, highlighting the value proposition of Sandisk storage solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Clearly communicate product information, and pricing.
- Market Awareness:
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
- Understand the competitive landscape and articulate Sandisk's unique selling propositions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or channel sales, preferably within the IT industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales or a related field (PREFERRED).
- Experience using Microsoft Office Apps (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Powerpoint)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and interest in technology products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Have:
- Experience with eCommerce platforms is a plus.
- Experience selling to or within companies like CDW, Insight, or SHI
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoominfo) and other sales tools.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding performance goals.

- An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
- The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
- You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
