Your Job:

As a Online Marketer at Sana Commerce, you will join the DACH marketing team, which consists of a Field Marketer and a Junior Content Marketer. You will be accountable for consistently increasing the effectiveness of our digital and paid channels, to generate marketing qualified leads (MQL) and sales accepted leads (SAL) for our sales pipeline.

In this role, you will support and execute the regional marketing strategy by driving digital marketing activities including website management, landing page management, e-mail marketing, and paid channel and ad management.  You will collaborate with different departments across both the regional and Rotterdam-based corporate marketing team to ensure high impact. This position is based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. You will report directly to the General Manager DACH.

  • Support in the execution of the full regional online marketing strategy to meet regional business objectives and increase marketing effectiveness:
    • Improve SERP rankings via SEO tactics
    • Manage the focus keywords set and increase ranking
    • Create, Support, Develop and optimize the regional paid-search and display campaigns in AdWords
  • Build, own, and maintain our e-mail marketing strategy in our marketing automation platform (Marketo);
  • Collaborate with marketing agencies to optimize our organic and paid activities;
  • Create, own, and support the development and optimization of regional PPC campaigns such as LinkedIn and Xing;
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs);
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests;
  • Own and Support corporate bespoke lead generation campaigns;
  • Be on top of the newest marketing & market trends and contribute to collective intelligence as an integral member of the marketing team.

What you bring along: 

  • Obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree;
  • 2-3 years hands on experience in digital marketing. Experience working with a software brand and/or in e-commerce is a pre;
  • (Near) native German
  • Experience and knowledge of Marketo and Wordpress;
  • Experience with digital channels such as LinkedIn or Google Adwords;
  • Experience with writing and optimizing ads across all paid channels and with creating and optimizing landing pages;
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle ambiguity and untangle complex situations into actionable activities;
  • Self-starter with a “can do” personality.
