• Provide Level 3 support for infrastructure components such as Network, Storage and Virtualization platforms (HyperV & VMWare)
• Provide Level 3  support on Kubernetes and Azure
• Architecting cloud infrastructures on Azure for small, medium scale and enterprise level applications
•  Experience with troubleshooting very complex distributed environments
•  Application performance and monitoring tools and advice to an entity that will allow for the successful adoption or migration of Cloud-based technologies or services
• Maximize network performance by monitoring performance
• Troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
• Design and implement new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment
• Establish the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation and defining, documenting and enforcing system standards
• Liaise with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis
• Support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy
• Extensive knowledge of Windows & Linux based systems            
• Configure routing and switching equipment, and firewalls
• Identify opportunities for new automations to improve the efficiency in of the department
• Improve the existing cloud infrastructure and implement the governance
• Introduce new technologies and train Level 1 and 2 teams on trends
• Maintain and improve Kubernetes monitoring infrastructure by using Prometheus and Grafana

Basic requirements

• Degree in Computer science, IT or a related discipline. 
• Certifications in Azure Architect and Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) will be added advantage.
• More than five years on maintaining enterprise infrastructure (Cloud, Network and Systems)
• Must have hands-on experience in enterprise monitoring solutions (Zabbix, Nagios and Prometheus)
• Good understanding of network and systems architecture
• Good understanding of config management principles
• Good understanding of distributed system design and dependency management
• Demonstrated experience from end-to-end delivery of cloud-based solutions
• Working knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and Infrastructure as Code
• Able to collaborate with a globally distributed team of engineers using industry standard collaboration tools
• Must have good understanding with at least 3 of the languages like Shell Scripting, or PowerShell
• Must have good understanding with at least 3 of the Middleware like Tomcat, Nginx, Apache, IIS

Preferred requirements

• Experience with microservice architecture (Kubernetes) will added advantage
• Passionate about AI, ML and Robotic Automation technologies.
