Job Description

  • Developing effective cloud infrastructure, enforcing good architectural principles, providing technical oversight, and ensuring security best practices are implemented and followed
  • Support department heads in capacity planning and effective utilization of available resources
  • Provide input to department heads on resource performance and potential development areas
  • Manage project activities throughout the lifecycle, including the resource management, work shift scheduling, documentation, budget, and other factors necessary for success
  • Continually identify opportunities for improvement, such as combining similar solution needs
  • Lead the implementation of technical best practices, policies, and procedures
  • Experience on cloud technologies and cloud networking
  • Hands on experience on Azure, SQL , Hosting
  • Excellent knowledge and experience on IIS, FTP, DNS, TCP/IP, SMTP, Mail Relays like SendGrid
  • Strong incident troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with RCA
  • Internal & external customer handling skills
  • Strong programming skills
  • Should be able to mentor/cross train team members on existing and new technologies
  • Process Automation experience to reduce manual/repeating work
  • Carry out ad-hoc special tasks when requested by the management or project teams

Qualifications

Basic requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Azure administrator associate (AZ-104) certification is must.
  • At least minimum 5 years’ experience in supporting hosting infrastructure and operations
  • Must work in NOC or IT related technical support team
  • Hand on experience in IT delivery, solutions implementation, project management, operations management, team leadership
  • Expert and having good understanding of the ITIL functions
  • Strong communications both written and spoken skills
  • Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of DNS ,IIS, MSSQL and other Microsoft services
  • Experience in the documentation and design of standard operating procedures
  • Good communication skills with strong technical background
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in 24x7 shift basis and on call support when required
  • Certificates in CCNA, MCSA and Azure would be an added advantage
  • Must have good understanding with the scripting languages like Shell Scripting, or PowerShell
