Job Summary

• Lead or supervise subcontractor to proceed with construction effectively in accordance with project specification under safe condition.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensures safe condition at construction site in cooperation with safety department.
• Supervise and ensure construction quality in accordance with project specification and ITP(Inspection and Test Plan).
• Ensure necessary construction drawings and materials in advance of construction implementation.
• Manage construction progress and productivity by checking daily, weekly and monthly work done quantities 
• Monitor project budgets and ensures all work is completed within budget constraints
• Communicate with senior management to provide updates and address any concerns 
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction 
• Coordinate with other disciplines or departments to resolve interface issues.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensures all work meets company standards
• Assign work front area to other Supervisors based on skills and experienced of team members.
• Be responsible for timely issuance of PTW, Direct and Supervise sub-contractors construction team to ensure adherence to the ptw condition. 
• Attend various walk down such as SMC (System Mechanical Completion), STC (System Test Certificate), PSSR (Pre / Post Startup Safety Review) along with company.
• Ensure and follow up completion and clearance of all punch items related to SMC, STC, PSSR Walk down.
• Promote near miss and unsafe acts identification program.
• Review the timesheet of rental manpower & machinery equipment.
• Supervise records of all Photos, e-mails, evidences of delay, lack of re-sources, failed in schedule to be informed to subcontract engineer / manager

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering major

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in civil supervision
• Significant knowledge of project specifications and standards, and medium to large-sized project experience
• Experience in oil / gas / petrochemical or power plants as a supervisor
• Engineering & Construction Company working experience

Knowledge or Certification

• Comprehensive knowledge on construction management and engineering standards.
• Computer application ability (MS Office)
• Knowledge of HVAC Control, Equipment Installation, Duct, Piping, Commissioning & TAB, Plumbing

Technical and Behavioral Competency

• Strong knowledge of HVAC engineering principles and construction techniques, particularly in trouble shooting of HVAC units, HVAC equipment and duct installation, HCP control cable pulling and termination, HVAC equipment startup and commissioning, testing adjusting air balancing (TAB), plumbing fixture and equipment installation, and plumbing UG and AG PVC and CPVC, HDPE, pipes installation
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and inspection and test plans (ITPs)
• Ability to manage project budgets, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of construction projects
• Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to ensure safe conditions at the construction site
• Ability to identify and resolve construction issues and conflicts that may arise
• Familiarity with subcontractor management and construction scheduling
• Ability to conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to company standards
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for HVAC engineering and construction project management
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide mentorship and guidance to lower-level supervisors
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with senior management, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a timely and effective manner
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure all work meets company standards
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
