Job Description
Job Summary
- Responsible for providing technical expertise on-site to ensure the successful installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment, systems, or infrastructure.
- This role involves working directly at project sites, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee field activities including installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment or systems.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of technical issues on-site.
- Perform calibration, adjustments, and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance (for instrumentation roles).
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
- Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide on-site technical support and training to operators, technicians, or clients.
- Document field activities such as daily reports, progress updates, calibration sheets, and issue logs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify potential risks or issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and ensure readiness for field deployment
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil) or related field.
Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in project management or a related field
- Experience in oil / gas / petrochemical or power plants
- Engineering & Construction Company working experience
Knowledge or Certification:-
- Comprehensive knowledge on construction management and engineering standards.
- Computer application ability (MS Office)
- Certified Calibrators for smart transmitter
- Configuration, troubleshooting and rectification works for Electrical and Instrument
- Commissioning and testing
