Job Summary

• Assist any construction supervisions under superintendent and senior supervisor.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring safe condition at construction site in cooperation with safety department
• Assist in ensuring construction quality in accordance with project specification and ITP (Inspection and Test Plan)
• Assist in ensuring necessary construction drawings and materials in advance of construction implementation
• Assist in managing construction progress by checking daily, weekly and monthly work done quantities
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly construction report
• Assist in preparing MOM (Minutes of Meeting) when attending progress or delay related meeting with Sub-contractors
• Participate in recording B/P (Best Practice) and L/L(Lessons Learned)
• Facilitate issuance of necessary permits and gate pass (For Equipments, Manpower) when requested by Sub-contractors
• Facilitate near miss and unsafe acts identification program
• Review the timesheet of rental manpower & machinery equipment
• Assist various walk down such as SMC (System Mechanical Completion), STC (System Test Certificate), PSSR (Pre / Post Startup Safety Review) along with company.
• Assist in following up completion and clearance of all punch items related to SMC, STC, PSSR Walk down
• Keep track records of all photos, e-mails, evidences of delay, lack of re-sources, failed in schedule to be informed to subcontract engineer / manager.

• All types of Foundation Work for Plant  (Mat, Isolated, Table top, Ring Wall, etc.)
• Underground work (Cable Trench, Duct Bank, Manhole, etc.)

• Others. (Dewatering, Shoring, etc)

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering major

Experience:

• 0 to 10 years of experience in civil supervision
• Basic knowledge of project specifications and standards
• 5 years of experience above in oil / gas / petrochemical or power plants as senior tecnician or senior foreman level
• Engineering & Construction Company working experience

Knowledge or Certification:

• Comprehensive knowledge on construction management and engineering standards.
• Computer application ability (MS Office)
• Knowledge of Survey, Pile Load Test, Pile Work, Earth Work, Concrete(UG/AG), Paving, Fire Proofing, Water Proofing, Jetty

Technical and Behavioral Competency:

• Knowledge of construction practices, techniques and materials.
• Understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Ability to manage construction progress and track work done quantities.
• Capability to prepare construction reports and method statements.
• Knowledge of survey and soil improvement techniques.
• Expertise in various types of foundation work for plants.
• Understanding of underground work such as cable trench, duct bank, and manhole.
• Proficiency in precast concrete work.
• Familiarity with other construction activities such as dewatering and shorin
• Communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills to address issues and challenges that arise during construction.
• Time management skills to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail to ensure construction quality and compliance with project specifications.
