Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Material Control Operator to join our team in Al Khor, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the flow of materials and inventory within our organization, ensuring efficient operations and accurate record-keeping.

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using inventory management systems
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and supplies
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Update and maintain material control records and databases
  • Generate reports on inventory status, usage, and trends
  • Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete inventory
  • Assist in implementing and improving inventory control procedures
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize storage and retrieval processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in material handling

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree / High school diploma or equivalent;

Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in material control, inventory management, or related field

Knowledge

  • Knowledgeable in inventory management systems and material tracking software
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office 
  • Knowledgeable in data entry skills with high attention to detail
  • Knowledgeable in warehouse operations and supply chain processes
  • Knowledgeable in basic math skills for inventory calculations and reporting
