General Characteristics (Job Summary)

• Supervise, manage and support subcontractor to proceed with construction effectively in accordance with project specification under safe condition.
• Provide, manage, supervise, budget, coordinate, perform as a focal point for all HVAC / AC works by initiating and executing HVAC / AC Work Orders.
• Direct involvement and close supervision of activities of assigned subordinates and subcontractors.
• Provide technical support during the implementation of HVAC projects work.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare Scope of Work (SOW) related to HVAC call-off contract and conduct project management inspections, testing and commissioning of HVAC/AC works for various projects.
• Plan, direct and control the activities of sub-contractors including setting priorities, assigning tasks, and checking completed work.
• Support and develop peers across the multi-discipline operations team.
• Ensure spare parts and materials are available for planned construction activities.
• Ensure work requests are sufficiently detailed, clearly defining the scope of work or nature of the problem along with basic planning information.
• Provide specialist support with regards to installation of HVAC equipment.
• Supervise and ensure safe condition at construction site in cooperation with safety department.
• Supervise and ensure construction quality in accordance with project specification and ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
• Ensure necessary construction drawings and materials in advance of construction implementation.
• Manage construction progress by checking daily, weekly and monthly work done quantities.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly construction report.
• Prepare construction M/S (Method Statement) based on specification and requirements.
• Record B/P (Best Practice) and L/L (Lessons Learned).
• Co-ordinate with other disciplines or departments to resolve interface issues.
• Execute daily work schedules in a safe, efficient, and diligent manner in accordance with approved procedures, routines, and industry standards.
• Prepare JSA or Equivalent Documents based on specification and requirements.

Minimum Education Level

• Diploma / Higher Diploma in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning/ Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

• Engineering and Construction Company working experience in Middle East is preferred.
• Supervisory level with site experience in the construction and maintenance of industrial buildings and workshops.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of International HVAC engineering and safety standards.

Knowledge

• Comprehensive knowledge on construction management and engineering standards.
• Computer application ability (MS Office).
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of principles and practices.
• Computer literate in mainstream Office products have had exposure to online management, document and maintenance systems including SAP.
