Job Description

General Characteristics (Job Summary)

  • Responsible for unrolling, maintaining, and repairing IT asset, such as PCs, working stations, printers and corresponding hardware at site in Engineering and Construction project.
  • Dealing with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Administration and Configuration of Network Devices like routers and Switches such as Cisco and Others.
  • Handle and manage the operation of network security systems and Infrastructures such as (Firewalls, IPS, Endpoint Technologies).
  • Provide security awareness training on specific-security issues for various departments and staff within the company.
  • Administration of Telephone System. Following ITIL Process for all our day to day activities like Incident management, Service call, Problem management and change management.
  • Monitor and maintain networks and servers.
  • Developed data retrieval and recovery procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and modification of the network (Arranging LAN / WAN) / system and its various components and TCP/IP configurations.
  • Install and update software.
  • Control acquisition, distribution, security, and maintenance of all project related IT asset.
  • Stage all IT Equipment (Desktops, Laptops, CAD Stations and Network Printers) prior to Project Site deployment.
  • Comply to HQ requirements.
  • Support client in hardware issue and maintenance.
  • Network Installation and Termination, OS installation, Assembling Computers, End user support, Hardware Trouble shooting and Software.
  • Configuration of wireless Network (Repeater, access point, router and modem).
  • Supervision of the megger testing (Electrical).
  • Configuration of PABX for VOIP telephone.
  • Manage shared folder and devices through permissions.
  • Local and Network-printer configuration, troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Education
Bachelors degree in IT-related major preferred
