Job Description

Key Objectives:

The Operator Account Sales Manager is responsible for managing strategic relationships with key telecom operators, including Telecom leaders, to drive Samsung’s mobile device sales, enhance channel performance, and deliver joint business growth.
This role focuses on account management, sales planning, and campaign execution while ensuring alignment between Samsung and operator partners on business objectives, marketing activities, and revenue targets

Position Responsibilities:

1. Account Management & Business Growth

  • Manage and strengthen strategic relationships with major telecom operators (STC, Mobily, Zain, etc.).
  • Develop and execute joint business plans with operator partners to achieve sell-in and sell-out targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and business meetings with key operator stakeholders.
  • Monitor account performance across commercial, sales, and marketing dimensions to identify opportunities and gaps.
  • Negotiate and implement trade agreements, product allocations, and promotional funding in line with Samsung’s business goals.

2. Sales Planning & Forecasting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts in alignment with MX division objectives.
  • Manage sell-in/sell-out data, inventory levels, and pricing to ensure target achievement and channel health.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and finance teams to ensure forecast accuracy and timely product availability.
  • Identify market opportunities, product priorities, and seasonal promotions to maximize revenue.

3. Campaign & Marketing Alignment

  • Coordinate with operators on co-marketing campaigns, digital activations, and CRM initiatives.
  • Ensure campaign messaging and creative execution align with Samsung brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and Cheil to deliver integrated campaigns that drive awareness and conversion.
  • Track and evaluate campaign effectiveness using predefined KPIs and provide actionable insights.

4. Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Maintain detailed dashboards and business reports on sales performance, campaign outcomes, and market trends.
  • Provide regular updates to management on operator performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Utilize data analytics to improve forecasting accuracy, channel productivity, and ROI from trade investments.
  • Support quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and strategic planning presentations.

 

Essential skills and experience:

  • 5–7 years of experience in telecom sales, key account management, or operator business development.
  • Proven success managing relationships with major telecom operators (STC, Mobily, Zain).
  • Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of telecom business models, promotions, and subsidy structures.
  • Hands-on experience in device sales, co-marketing, or trade marketing.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities; advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and supply chain teams.

 

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline.
    • Master’s degree preferred.
    • Experience with CRM systems, sales dashboards, and BI tools is an advantage.
    • Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
