@america is the U.S. Embassy’s American Center located in Jakarta, Indonesia. Our mission is to provide a space for young Indonesians to learn more about the United States and to share ideas about issues that are important to both Americans and Indonesians.

All of our events are free and open to the public and include topics such as education, music and arts, science and technology, and entrepreneurship.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Marketing Coordinator in managing social media platforms and our online community across 7 digital platforms
• Create engaging content and copy for social media, campaigns, newsletters, and more
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and campaign reports
• Provide live coverage and engagement during events (online & offline)
• Liase with media partners and communities to maximize campaign impact
• Coordinate with our Event team to boost promotional efforts and ensure accurate messaging

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in digital marketing and social media
• Familiar with social media management, analytics, and advertising tools
• Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian (verbal and written)
• Experience organizing and publishing successful events online, offline and/or hybrid
• Proficient in MS Office and digital tools
• Well-organized, able to successfully juggle multiple tasks
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Agile and flexible, able to adapt and perform well under pressure
