Job Description

Salud Family Health Centers and the University of Colorado Morgan County Rural Training Track are seeking a Family Physician and faculty member to provide comprehensive medical care to a diverse population that includes all ages (pediatrics, adult, geriatric and obstetric patients), and teach 2nd- and 3rd-year family medicine residents and medical students.

 We offer:

  • Starting Annual Salary - $230,000 to $264,800

This opportunity includes:

  • Care provision to adult and pediatric patients in an FQHC setting in the 2nd most diverse community in Colorado
  • Option to provide prenatal care, mentorship available
  • Option to perform point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and numerous outpatient procedures with excellent procedural opportunities
  • Option to provide pediatric calls at a local hospital with time provided for pediatric inpatient rounding
  • Teaching and supervision of residents and medical students, resident advising, and curriculum development

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Graduation from an approved school of allopathic or osteopathic medicine  

    Licensure:

    • Possess a license to practice medicine in good standing in the State of Colorado
    • Board Certified Family Physician 
    • J1 visa waiver docs are eligible, but board certification has to be in family medicine

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Sensitivity to low-income and ethnic minority communities is a must
    • Ability to speak Spanish preferred
