Job Description

PURPOSE

We are looking for a strong Senior Recruiter that can lead recruiting strategy and efforts across a portfolio of three professional services firms: an innovation firm, a healthcare advisory firm, and an onshore software development firm. The Senior Recruiter will lead recruiting strategy across the portfolio with support from the Director of Human Resources and firm leadership. The Senior Recruiter will also be responsible for the full life cycle of all requisitions across the portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruiting Strategy

  • Work with leaders across three firms in the portfolio to develop a strategy to build a pipeline of candidates
  • Understand the current market and changes to update recruiting strategy based on the needs of each firm
  • Develop the recruiting brands and sourcing strategies working closely with the Chief of Staff on the Marketing and Communications team

Recruiting Management

  • Develop a recruiting and sourcing plan for each position with information from the hiring leader
  • Post requisition on each firm job board and external job boards
  • Source high quality applicants for all levels of the firms
  • Review applicants to ensure each candidate is meeting minimum requirements
  • Train employees participating in the recruiting process to ensure we are meeting equal employment opportunity compliance standards as well as understanding how to identify the best candidates in our recruiting pools
  • Develop interviewing tools and consistent process for assessing candidates across positions and the firm
  • Coordinate and schedule all interviews and debrief meetings for all requisitions, which may include coordinating travel for candidates and leaders
  • Facilitate in-person interview days and act as a host to onsite recruiting events
  • Correspond with candidates and provide timely updates on application status
  • Manage applications throughout the process in BambooHR to meet required compliance
  • Maintain accurate and compliant recruiting records
  • Interface with partner recruiting agencies
  • Develop regular reporting on recruiting efforts and effectiveness
  • Assist in on-boarding and off-boarding tasks as needed

NECESSARY SKILLS

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to correspond professionally with a variety of audiences
  • Energy, drive, and demonstrated capacity for independent thinking and overcoming obstacles to see projects to completion
  • High attention to detail and superior organizational and time management capabilities
  • Able to maintain confidential information
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office software and experience using applicant tracking systems
  • Understanding of the business of professional service firms
  • Advanced understanding of diversity recruiting and compliance standards for regulations including EEO/AA and ADA

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in recruiting at all levels
  • Experience recruiting for a professional services firm
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in recruiting at all levels
  • Experience with campus recruiting cycles
  • Experience in diversity recruiting and meeting regulatory requirements
