Job Description

We are currently accepting applications for a Regional Sales Director located in Springfield, Missouri. This position is responsible for the overall management of our Outside Sales Representatives within our Missouri and Kentucky markets. 

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for SSG's sales force within a region through the effective promotion of SSG products to Salons, Stylists, and Schools within the geographic region. The RSM will lead and manage a team of Outside Sales Reps, in addition to directly promoting SSG products. The RSM will also manage projects involving cross functional communication and activities. This position is responsible for the day to day management of the sales team by effectively training, mentoring and coaching, by providing leadership and ensuring that the team performs with integrity. This position will oversee the proper use by the region of corporate resources and assets. This position will also attend and participate in sales and management training meetings and events as directed by management

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Outside Sales Management (minimum of 5 direct reports) required
  • Experience or interest in the Beauty Industry
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • B2B “Hunter" with strategic regional development and selling skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent Presentation & Communication Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or related field of study (or equivalent work experience) required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Optimistic attitude with solution oriented problem solving abilities required.
