Job Description
As Corporate Strategy Senior Manager, you will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, building & translating Salomon’s long-term vision into actionable, high-impact initiatives across the business.
Role purpose
- Shape and animate Salomon’s Long-Term Strategic Plan (LTSP), translating long-term ambition into clear strategic choices, priorities and initiatives
- Lead high-priority, complex cross-functional strategic initiatives with enterprise-wide impact
- Act as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership, framing strategic questions, challenging assumptions and translating analysis into clear recommendations and decisions
- Drive robust, data-driven assessment of growth opportunities, investments, new business models and strategic trade-offs
- Enable CEO, CFO, Executive Committee and Board readiness through high-quality strategic analysis, decision materials and governance
Specific responsibilities
- Shape and animate Salomon’s LTSP process, working across functions and regions to ensure strategic coherence, clear choices and alignment around long-term priorities
- Lead high-priority strategic projects across HQ functions, Product & Marketing, Commercial and Operations, from problem definition and strategic recommendation through implementation
- Structure complex strategic decisions by framing options, challenging assumptions, assessing trade-offs and developing clear recommendations for senior leadership
- Develop robust strategic business cases for growth opportunities, investments and new business or operating models
- Shape and enable executive governance, including strategic reviews, leadership offsites and CEO/CFO/Board readiness, with clear insights and decision-oriented recommendations
Qualifications
Essential skills & experience
- 6–8+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy or a comparable strategic environment; significant experience in a top-tier management consulting firm strongly preferred. Consulting in consumer goods, sportswear or the outdoor industry is a plus.
- Strong track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments and driving outcomes with autonomy
Essential competencies
- You are a structured and strategic thinker with a strong sense of ownership. You collaborate effectively across functions, communicate with clarity and impact, and are able to influence without direct authority. You combine analytical rigor with a pragmatic, results-oriented mindset.

- Education: Master’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field (preferred)
