Job Description

Salomon Retail is looking for its next Retail Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator to support the growth and operational excellence of our store network across EMEA.

As part of the Retail Construction & Facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring our stores provide the best possible environment for both employees and consumers. You will drive maintenance excellence, coordinate facilities operations, and support preventive initiatives across a diverse portfolio of stores.

Your main objective will be to define and implement the maintenance strategy while coordinating all maintenance and repair activities across Europe, ensuring high-quality standards, budget control, and operational efficiency.

Your Mission

  • Build and manage a reliable network of contractors and service providers across the EMEA region.
  • Partner with the Construction Manager to define and implement the retail maintenance strategy.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve maintenance standards, processes, and guidelines.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the store portfolio.
  • Ensure maintenance inspections and repair works are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Monitor service provider performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage maintenance reporting, documentation, and budget tracking.
  • Support store operations by providing reactive and effective solutions to facilities-related issues.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely execution of maintenance projects.
  • Contribute to maintaining safe, compliant, and attractive retail environments for our teams and customers.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For 

Required Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Facilities Management, Maintenance, Construction, or a related field.
  • Experience managing a multi-site environment, ideally across several European countries.
  • Exposure to retail, real estate, or facilities management is highly valued.
  • International and multicultural experience is a strong asset.

Education

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in Maintenance Management, Project Management, Business Management, or a related discipline.

Languages

  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Spanish and/or Italian would be an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, fire safety, and general building maintenance.
  • Experience working with and managing subcontractors and service providers.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance programs and facilities best practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within a retail environment (fashion, cosmetics, food & beverage, sporting goods, or other multi-store networks).
  • Experience supporting high street, outlet, or shopping center stores.
  • Passion for sports, outdoor activities, and the Salomon brand universe.

Additional Information

  • Contract: Full-time, permanent position.
  • Location: Annecy or Paris preferred. Other locations across Europe may be considered for candidates with convenient access to an international airport.
  • Travel: Approximately 50% across the EMEA region.
