Description du poste
As a Supply Planner Assistant, here's your main responsibilities :
Definition of purchasing requirements based on demand and stock strategy:
- Plan production requirements based on demand, order book, inventory, and inventory strategy, taking into account industrial, development, commercial and logistical constraints.
- Commit production quantities accordingly
Supply planning:
- Draw up and periodically transmit to the production units a "firm" and/or provisional phased production plan
- Coordinate and monitor implementation of the production plan
- Periodically analyse industrial constraints in the light of available supplier capacity
- Alert and explain any deviations from the initial production plan
Responsible purchasing practices (FLA) :
The Supply planner will be responsible for upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout the supply chain
- By working closely with the Salomon Global Sustainability Team with regards to ensuring the continuous improvement of our responsible purchasing practices.
- By working closely with the Amer Sports Global Sourcing Vendor Sustainability team on quarterly business reviews and training/capacity building (at least annually)
- By adhering to negotiated lead times and balanced annual capacities to expedite responsible purchasing practices as outlined in the Responsible Sourcing Policy.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will show an ability to formalise processes and workflows, to map processes and elaborate scenarios to be tested. The candidate will show pedagogic skills in order to train the business to new processes and tools. His/her ability to translate business requirements from suppliers in a comprehensive way for the internal teams will be key to succeed in the role.
The essential competencies required for this role are as followed :
- Process orientation : an ability to anticipate needs for new processes and necessary implementations
- Communication : an ability to reformulate what is heard using simple words, being articulate, clear and concise, and showing good negotiation skills.
- Collaboration : an ability to work with partners to improve performance and share best practices.
- Customer focus : an ability to put customers at the center of the decision process and prioritize them.
Education : A master in Engineering or Business school and a specialization in supply chain/ purchasing / “genie industriel “ is a plus
Tools : Command of Pack Office (advanced Excel)
Skills : Knowledge of database management
Language : English C1 minimum, fluency in French

At Salomon, internship compensation is structured as follows:
Internship allowance:
High school to Bachelor’s degree (Bac to Bac +3): €700 gross
Master’s level (Bac +4/+5): €950 gross
PhD: €1,200 gross
Housing allowance:
€300 housing support, upon presentation of a lease agreement for accommodation located.
