We are looking for a KA GLOBAL BUSINESS DEVELOPER SALOMON URBAN W/M to:
In coordination with the GTM (SAM/NAM) the Business developer is the category owner of the assigned strategic accounts. He/she knows his/her category shares at the account and the shopper profile. He/she is responsible for driving profitable sales growth with the customers. He/ She is able to articulate the potential of the account in his/her category and product needs to drives the achievement of Urban Category.
He/she defines and deploy the commercial plan of his/her accounts in agreement with the commercial strategy of the Brand & category, in order to develop the turnover and the margin.
He/She will coordinate with Local National account manager and Marketing team in order to deliver the best the seasonal package to the customer as well as the best activation / consumer experience.
You will work in close collaboration with our GTM organization, Product team, supply, GCM departments.
You will report directly to the Footwear Commercial Manager.
- Ensure the implementation of Salomon Urban vision and strategy on the market and within the Strategic account portfolio.
- Builds strong connections with key decision makers, focusing on the customer’s product buying managers, their teams, merchandisers, allocators and marketing teams
- He/she negotiates international offers for his/her category in strong alignment with the category Marketing & Commercial brief as well as AMER Sports GTM strategy
He/she will analyze and monitor all sales programs in order to identify further opportunities.
He/she build an exceptional understanding of the Urban FTW development plan to align with the buying group/account and its consumer positioning.
He/she helps the RCD and the local CMM/NAMs to address the best the account (Plan presentation, buyers relationship, visit in ADC)
He/she makes sure that all commercial plan, market data, sell-through data are collected and analyzed to help the business monitoring
Responsible for managing sell-through activities to achieve the sales target and KPIs, monitoring the execution of seasonal sales programs to meet KPIs/adjusting product line to achieve targets by utilising data to identify win-win in season business opportunities with the customer, focusing on customer profitability
Ensures exceptional brand presence in the account stores and on-line working closely with the marketing team and the community manager
Works closely with product and merchandising team and to develop programs and product ranges that uniquely build Salomon ability to succeed with assigned accounts (Exclu, SMU)
Works closely with the Marketing and the campaign specialist in order to build the best campaign into his/her accounts
Builds strong relationships across the matrix (Commercial, product team, CM, CS, Finance, Marketing) to facilitate operational excellence for the customer and ensures that all stakeholder are regularly updated on business progress
Apart from the strategic account scope, he/she manages as well the commercial relationship with partners for the collaboration products / collaboration lines.
Needed Work Experience: 2+ years category management experience within the Sneaker industry, selling to international/cross border strategic accounts in a similar role
Education: Bachelors’ degree in a business-related field or equivalent
