Role:

Work on allocated assignments carrying out a range of application designs and maintains application architecture.  Support development of software applications and implementations of software solutions for several Company Control Techniques locations in Europe and in Asia. Interact with IT Team (80%), Application Engineering (20%) in Europe, Asia and US.
The role is based in Cluj and occasionally travels to Belgium will be needed.

Responsabilities:

-  Accomplish specific deliverables in new product development, sustaining engineering and cost reduction projects

-  Carrying out specific project tasks within the timescales and budgets agreed with the project manager

-  Write code – implement and integrate functionality using the JAVA language

-  Create design, coding and specification documentation in support of defined requirements

-  Produce quality focused code to fulfill defined requirements

-  Participate in code reviews

-  Actively participate in design discussions and reviews

-  Update and track project schedules

-  Provide periodic, accurate progress reports to the management

-  Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science or related domain

-  Minimum 1-2 years of experience in software development using JAVA, SQL

-  Experience with the Microsoft world (Windows Operating System, MS SQL Server, MS Visual Studio, MS Office)
-  Fluency in English

-  Organizational Skills - ability to meet deadlines, ability to achieve and maintain expected productivity levels

-  Communication Skills - written and verbal

-  Problem Solving/Analytical Skills

-  Ability to follow procedures

-  Ability to learn quickly and work in a team
