Sahara Equestrian Resort is a prestigious equestrian resort known for its world-class facilities, top-notch horse care, and exceptional riding experiences. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Groom to join our team and ensure the health, well-being, and overall maintenance of our horses.

As the Head Groom at SER, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of horse care, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for overseeing the grooming team and ensuring the welfare of our horses while creating a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests

• Proven experience as a Head Groom in an equestrian setting.
• Strong knowledge of horse care, health, and nutrition.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and interact positively with guests.
• Physically fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Certification in equine first aid and CPR is a plus.

1. Horse Care: Provide daily care for horses, including feeding, grooming, bathing, and ensuring their overall health and well-being.

2. Stables: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the stables, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the horses.

3. Supervision: Oversee a team of grooms and stable hands, delegating tasks and responsibilities as necessary, and providing training when needed.

4. Healthcare: Monitor the horses' health and coordinate with veterinarians and farriers for regular check-ups, vaccinations, and hoof care.

5. Tack and Equipment: Ensure that all tack, equipment, and riding gear are clean, in good condition, and properly stored.

6. Guest Interaction: Interact with guests, providing information about the horses and equestrian activities, and assisting with riding lessons or trail rides as required.

7. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to equine emergencies and administer basic first aid when necessary.

8. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of each horse's health, feeding, and any special requirements.

9. Supplies Management: Keep track of feed, bedding, and other supplies, and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.

10. Training: Continuously improve your knowledge of equine care and management through ongoing training and education.
