Job Description

In this role, you will generate sales and establish long-term partnerships with Pharma customers in the Italian market. You will represent Syntegon Pharma in the Italian market and will essentially contribute to market development and growth.

  • You will conduct customer visits within the assigned region to generate leads and opportunities, while also participating in trade fairs and important pharmaceutical exhibitions, both regional and international.
  • In order to contribute effectively in customer meetings and technical discussions with the plants, you will develop a good technical knowledge of our portfolio.
  • Perform market analysis to define potential new customers and application areas, while monitoring market trends and competitors within the assigned region.
  • Create sales strategies to achieve targets and profit goals as well as a development strategy in coordination with the assigned business units.
  • Assure customer satisfaction which leads to repeat orders.
  • Coordinate all activities between the client and the manufacturing sites.
  • Prepare reports on all sales activities in a timely manner and maintain the CRM and project lists up to date.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record with over 5 years of experience and a strong background in achieving sales success stories.
  • Well connected and sales experienced within the machinery sector (preferably in pharma processing and packaging).
  • Willingness to travel, manly domestically and internationally, up to 50% of the time.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation as well as customer management skills.
  • Relevant technical understanding combined with effective decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong background in arranging and managing customer presentations, meetings; strong familiarity with sales tools.
