Job Description

In your role as Senior Mechanical Design Engineer no two days are the same. You transform ideas into smart mechanical solutions and are involved in the entire process: from the first sketch to the finished product. You are the link between creativity and technology, and your designs make the difference.

What you’ll do:

  • Design mechanical solutions for both customer and innovation projects.
  • Take ownership of the mechanical aspects within projects.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers from different disciplines.
  • Support assembly and testing phases.
  • Develop concepts, drawings, and parts lists.
  • Monitor quality, safety, costs, and timelines.

Qualifications

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will bring experience, confidence, and a passion for engineering to the role. You enjoy tackling complex challenges and don’t shy away from taking the lead when needed.

What we’re looking for:

  • 7–10 years of continual experience as a Design/Development Engineer.
  • Practical background in an equipment manufacturing setting.
  • HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
  • Experience with electromechanical design of mechanisms.
  • Skilled in 3D modeling of complex assemblies (SolidWorks is a plus).
  • Strong focus on design for manufacture, assembly, costs, and safety.
  • Creative, problem-solving, and communicative team player.
