1) Source, negotiate & release purchase order on vendors for Electrical, Mechanical & Catalogue components & assemblies

2) Ensure supplies are made on- time as per project requirement profile

3) Supplier visits for development / upgrading their standards and relationship building

4) Co-ordinate with the engineering team for new part development & clearance of goods in logistics for the project

5) Reconciling suppliers accounts & ensure timely payment to vendors

6) Follow up with customs clearing agent for payment of customs duty & clearance of import consignments on-time by supporting them with required documents

7) Constantly look for localization & alternate makes in the market for cost effectiveness

Bachelor in Engineering with 3 to 5 years’ experience in electrical & Mechanical purchasing domain for a capital goods industry (preferably in machine building industry)

Knowledge on manufacturing of parts, machines its process will be an added advantage

Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, Drives, geared motors, sensors in addition to taxation, logistics, import and export procedures is essential. For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you're identifying the most profitable offers
