Syntegon Packaging Systems AG in Beringen (SH) is a company of the Syntegon Group and a leader in the manufacture of packaging machines and handling systems. With around 700 employees, we realize innovative, customer-specific packaging solutions in the high-performance range for the food industry.

As a Business Controller for service and digital solutions, you are responsible to provide timely and accurate financial planning and analysis for the global business unit. You will support the Head of Finance and Controlling in coordinating the various requests to foreign group companies, and act as a go-to for the several business and HQ contacts.

• Preparation of sales and contribution analysis for global service entities
• Support / lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes as well as monthly business reviews
• Perform gap analyses and ad-hoc reporting to provide fact-based business recommendation for growth and profitability improvement  
• Provide finance and controlling support to foreign group companies
• Lead/ Support finance related projects as well as the further development of MIS
• Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives as finance go-to

• Degree in finance, business, economics or related field
• 3-5 years professional experience in controlling or financial planning and analysis
• Strong analytical skills combined with precise working style
• Collaborative team-player with excellent communication skills and Hands-on can-do attitude and ability to perform in a fast-changing growth environment
• Strong Excel skills, working experience with SAP BI and consolidation tools is a plus
• Proficient in English, German is a plus
