Job Description

SUMMARY: Develops new business, maintains communication with customers to address needs and promote sales of spare parts, modernizations, field service, and service contracts.  Additionally responsible for Sales and Marketing of locally produced Manual Inspection products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work with internal and external customers to determine functional issues and propose service programs to facilitate.
  • Responsible for driving aftermarket parts sales, generating spare parts requests and following up with customers.
  • Coordinate sales support materials for Manual/Semi-Automated equipment including latest features offered.
  • Maintain daily/weekly communication with customers regarding spare parts, service, and other products.
  • Part preparation for PM shutdowns for the customer (verifying parts onsite for PM).
  • Troubleshoot parts needs for customers.
  • Works with manufactures in Japan and Germany to manage the quotation process including technical and commercial topics.
  • Manage urgent part requests for customers with equipment that is down.
  • Perform activities for marketing and sales of Manual Inspection (MIH/APK/ETAC); including quotes, order confirmation, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction survey.
  • Work with international selling offices and agents to promote the MIH product line.
  • Perform periodic visits to customer to check inventory and status of equipment to provide up to date parts lists and promote MIH product line
  • Travel up to 25% on average to attend offsite customer meetings

Qualifications

BASIC REQUIRMENTS:

  • Must possess a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited university
  • Must have at least 1+ years of Customer Service/ Support or Sales experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have a minimum of 1+ years of experience with ERP software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering is preferred
  • Experience with Great Plains ERP software is a plus
  • Basic understanding of Project Management is highly desired
