Job Description

SUMMARY: Responsible for processing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and involved in General Ledger transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process A/P, including open mail, review and submit invoices for approval, match purchase orders as required, process invoices in system, create a check register on a Bi-monthly basis, and prepare ACH and checks for signature and process vendor setup
  • Parts/Service A/R, customer collections, help maintain sales tax exemption certificates
  • Cash application in ERP, including daily bank reports and payment application
  • Review A/R Invoices, Inventory and other G/L transactions, including month and y/e close
  • Intercompany Reconciliation Tool Upload, Reconciliation and Netting Payment; including FX Payments
  • Prepare/Enter Journal Entries in ERP System.
  • Preparation of Account Reconciliations
  • Involved in Internal Audit and Testing
  • Working with Accounting Team to improve ERP system
  • Assist with archiving records for document storage
  • Assist in maintaining Accounting Procedures
  • Travel up to 5% on average to attend training courses and offsite meetings which requires valid drivers license

Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance OR have at least 4+ years of combined education and work experience in Accounting
  • Must have a minimum of 1+ year working in an Accounting capacity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good Interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal direction
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Hands-on approach with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP, Microsoft Office and IT skills
  • Good level of organization and prioritization skills
