ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Help shape the future: You are responsible for the coordination, consolidation and (pre-)bundling of the indirect / non-production spend in NA.
• Take responsibility: You ensure early involvement of non-production purchasing to achieve optimum results in both the identification and offering of the best prices in the market.
• Use your creativity and freedom: As an integral member of cross-functional material field teams you support projects and manage the RFQ process.
• Execution and implementation: You effectively negotiate price agreements and framework agreements; you define and organize user trainings in our systems for operational use (i.e. JAGGAER).
• Structured evaluation: You conduct supply and spend market analysis and develop strategies together with the material field management team at headquarters.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a Bachelor´s degree or above in Business Administration or Engineering
• Must have a minimum of 5+ years of non-production purchasing work experience
• Must have at least 3+ years of experience with contract law and negotiation methods

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: working for an international company is preferred
• Proficiency: with MS Office Suite and SAP (ERP system) is highly desired;
• Personality: Conflict ability and assertiveness, flexibility, motivation, technical affinity, team player with open mindset
• Working Practice: Strong negotiation skills, entrepreneurial thinking, analytical and process-oriented working methods, ability to work independently and pro-actively
• Languages: Good communication skill, basic German (speaking) would be supportive
