Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities: 

● Facilitate acquisition of compliance certificates and registrations; 

● Audit and implement compliance policies; 

● Support legal and business stakeholders on a variety of compliance issues and transactions, including, potential conflicts of interest, high-risk payments, appropriate segregation of duties, and audit and report compliance with the statutory compliance matters; 

● Organize and deliver compliance training and communications in integrity and compliance culture; 

● Be a key contributor to developing and implementing new compliance policies;

● Strong interfacing with internal auditors to address significant matters. aracteristic protected by the law.

Qualifications

Desired Skills: 

● Proven work experience post LLB in compliance function, including audit, risk assessment, and mitigation; 

● Suitable maturity, judgment, and expertise when addressing compliance-related issues and dealing with both internal and external clients; 

● Ability to work across diverse and cross-functional teams; 

● Well conversant with applicable laws with special emphasis on understanding food laws, food industry laws, logistics, and e-commerce related laws and compliance, internet and technology-related laws, and laws regarding software as a service. 

● Professional Qualifications: A bachelor of Laws is a must; added diplomas in compliance-related courses would be an added bonus.
