Job Description
What will you be doing?
We’re looking for a talented professional to join our Restructuring & Recovery Services team in London to support with the execution and supervision of special situations, turnaround and restructuring advisory cases through from planning to review and completion.
As an Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of advisory cases, ensuring efficient, proactive progression and high-quality output.
- Supporting independent business reviews, accelerated M&A work, option reviews, and corporate turnaround projects.
- Leading and developing junior staff through clear briefing, constructive feedback, and on‑the‑job training.
- Attending client meetings, identifying opportunities for additional services, and helping to exceed client service expectations.
- Ensuring all work, files, and marketing documents are completed to a review-ready standard and brief partners on key issues.
- Assisting managers and partners in managing WIP and delivering strong commercial outcomes across engagements.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have
- Strong analysis skills - able to prioritise effectively and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new procedures and situations.
- Strong organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Transaction advisory experience - preferable.
Professional Qualifications and Education
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Ideally ACA qualified. Other qualifications (CFA, MSc Finance) considered and beneficial
