Job Description

We seek a creative and enthusiastic Fine Art Teacher to inspire students to explore their artistic talents. The successful candidate will develop and implement engaging lesson plans, fostering technical skills and artistic expression.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Teach various fine art disciplines (drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, etc.).

2. Develop and implement curriculum aligned with state and national standards.

3. Instruct students in art history, theory, and criticism.

4. Encourage experimentation, creativity, and critical thinking.

 

Classroom Management:

 

1. Maintain a safe, organized, and well-equipped art studio.

2. Supervise students during classes, workshops, and projects.

3. Manage art supplies, materials, and equipment.

 

Student Support:

 

1. Provide individualized guidance and feedback.

2. Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.

3. Encourage student participation in art exhibitions and competitions.

 

 

Assessment and Evaluation:

 

1. Develop and administer assessments to measure student progress.

2. Evaluate student artwork, providing constructive feedback.

3. Maintain accurate records of student grades and progress.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

1. Experience with diverse artistic mediums and techniques.

2. Familiarity with art technology (digital art software, etc.).

3. Knowledge of art history, theory, and criticism.

4. Experience with art exhibitions, competitions, and festivals.

Qualifications

Requirements:

 

 

 

1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or related field.

 

2. Teaching certification or licensure

 

3. 2+ years of teaching experience (preferably in fine arts).

 

4. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
