Job Description
_Job Summary:_
We seek a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage our inventory, ensure accurate stock levels, and maintain a safe and efficient storage environment.
_Key Responsibilities:_
*Inventory Management:*
1. Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods.
2. Maintain accurate inventory records (manual and digital).
3. Conduct regular stock checks and reconciliations.
4. Identify and report discrepancies or stock damages.
*Storage and Organization:*
1. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage area.
2. Ensure proper storage and handling of goods.
3. Label and categorize inventory for easy identification.
4. Implement inventory classification and categorization systems.
*Ordering and Procurement:*
1. Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
2. Verify orders for accuracy and completeness.
3. Maintain relationships with suppliers.
4. Negotiate prices and delivery terms.
*Issuance and Distribution:*
1. Process internal requests for materials/goods.
2. Ensure timely and accurate issuance of items.
3. Maintain records of issued items.
4. Coordinate with departments for efficient distribution.
Administrative:
1. Maintain accurate records and reports.
2. Prepare and submit inventory reports.
3. Participate in audits and inventory counts.
4. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
_Requirements:_
1. 1-2 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, inventory software).
4. Strong organizational and communication skills.
