Job Description
We are seeking a passion-driven individual with excellent interpersonal skills for the role of STEM Educator. The Programme Manager will be responsible for initiating and implementing learning activities and facilitating excellent experiences for kids in STEMCafe's programmes within and outside the Maker spaces.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion to enhance learning and instruction for kids, a good project and programme management background, and an interest in STEM Education.
Key Responsibilities
Proffer strategic plans, processes, and programs to attract prospective partners of each country based on the region's dynamics
Responsible for the development and implementation of STEMCafe’s programs nationally and in East Africa.
Responsible for preparing a detailed budget for the program and tracking adherence to the budget by all educators.
Provide clarity and to direct reports and team members; ensure quality in carrying out KPIs with efficient delivery rate.
Responsible for developing school recruitment and retention plans to include engaging high-profile schools in Nairobi for school-sponsored programs.
Responsible for targeted grant applications from government, corporations, foundations, and individuals for the implementation of programs.
Responsible for effective stakeholder management and communication.
Identify risks/issues to the implementation of programs, resolve or escalate to the CEO.
Stay ahead of current trends and developments that can enhance program delivery and impact.
Writing POC (Proof of Concepts), Proposals, feasibility studies, and reports for partnerships and sponsors
Participates in professional growth and development and stays abreast of current research through continuing education, educational seminars, workshops, conferences, membership in professional organisations of the subject taught, and attendance at corporation-sponsored events.

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of Program Management
Communication, Presentation, and facilitation skill
Grant writing skills
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint tools
Soft Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Good organising and planning skills
Empathy and great interpersonal skills
Good teamwork abilities
Demonstrable passion for Early Child Development (ECD), STEM and Education particularly in Kenya
Fluent in English and conversational in Swahil
