Salary range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Job Description
The Community Development internship will give a very broad stroke view of STCU’s Community Relations department which includes: event coordination, internal and external communications, office coordination, and research. Responsibilities will include assisting the Community Relations department with their outreach in Washington and Idaho, which might include: event preparation, post-event analysis and analytics, community events and volunteerism, and assisting with financial education as needed. Be a content provider for various writing assignments. Work on signature events and initiatives. Perform general administration and office duties, including coordination of specialty items/giveaways, database entry, and preparation of written correspondence.
This position will be based in Liberty Lake, Washington at 1620 N. Signal Drive.
Duration: September 2023 – May 2024 with the possibility of extension
Schedule/Hours per week: Average of 15-20 hours per week, Monday – Friday, occasional nights and weekends.
Eligibility: Candidate needs to be an enrolled college student for the entirety of the internship and seeking credits, through Spring 2024 (Masters students ok).
Hours per Week: Average of 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday, occasional nights and weekends.

Qualifications
Required
- Candidate needs to be an enrolled college student for the entirety of the internship and seeking credits, through December 2023 (Masters students ok).
- Excellent verbal, organizational and writing skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Forms.
- Student must be a hard worker with a fun, can-do attitude.
Preferred
- Community involvement, volunteer experience, office experience, and prior event coordination.
- Reliable transportation needed.
