Salary range: $9,219.60 - $13,015.33 per month

Job Description

The Consumer Solutions Team Manager serves a key leadership role in the strategic growth of consumer relationships at STCU by creating and delivering a digital and product line that meets the needs of a wide range of consumer members segments and prospects. This position leads the overall design, development and launch of all consumer digital and depository products. This position is responsible for managing a team of digital channel and product management professionals that ensures all products are compliant, profitable, and competitive.

  • Serve as a leader and mentor by developing a strategic roadmap that creates the infrastructure to support STCU’s consumer objectives for growing full consumer memberships; managing employee performance and supporting professional development; championing and mentoring employees across the organization on consumer channel and product solutions.
  • Create channel strategies and initiatives to open new target consumer segments as well as cross selling and retaining active consumer member accounts by providing thoughtful leadership throughout the complete channel lifecycle and designing and delivering complex channel and product solutions which will expand the market share of members and deposits that STCU can successfully serve within our growing service footprint.
  • Effectively fulfill the needs of consumer members and drive success of complex and technical consumer retail initiatives as well as strategic projects by developing compelling business cases, creating KPIs and measuring/reporting results, designing technical infrastructure and integration, and ensuring a high-quality member and employee experience.
  • Deliver high-level results by collaborating with applicable leaders, ensuring product quality and safety, and influencing vendors to align with STCU’s strategic objectives.

Other Essential Functions

  • Act as a lead to support a positive work environment to ensure an effective, high performing and cohesive team. Actively participate and contribute to meetings. May be asked to fill in for Director or conduct and report out on team or project meetings. Serve as a mentor to coach team members to increase their developmental competency and depth.
  • Participate in market research, validation, and whitespace analysis to identify new opportunities for new and existing features and functionalities. Partner with line of business owners and digital/product teams to build roadmaps that will be incorporated into the broader company product portfolio plan. Actively support project management with the delivery of related projects. This includes the development of scope, task delivery, issue management, adherence to timelines and budgets, and assures organizational readiness best practices are followed.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and understand the voice of the member through a variety of data sources to better understand member needs and preferences, and incorporate those insights into the strategic planning and execution processes.

Qualifications

Education: Position requires either a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field, or equivalent experience in a related field. Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with a Master's degree.

Certifications: Product Methodology certification or Safe Agile PO/PM certification is preferred.

Job Experience: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years of experience in product management, digital channel management, or digital applications. Experience must include, a minimum of three years of leadership experience that includes delegating responsibilities, facilitating change, mentoring, problem-solving, and coaching and counseling staff. Previous experience in software development and working with an Agile framework is strongly preferred. Experience also must include minimum of two years of vendor management experience and proven abilities in partner management, accomplishing projects with little to no supervision both within a team atmosphere and independently, time management, breaking down larger work efforts, problem-solving, prioritizing complex and interrelated priorities, and delivering strong written and spoken communications.

Software Skills: The candidate should have an extensive working knowledge of integrating different digital systems to create the best user experiences. Additionally, the candidate should possess proficient knowledge of MS Office programs, with a specific emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Visio, and Teams.

Other Skills: Strong analytical, prioritization, and negotiating skills. Working knowledge of consumer segmentation and associated product and serving needs expectations.

Physical Demands: Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 10 pounds with accommodations.

Work Conditions: Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Travel Demands: Infrequent travel required out of state to industry conferences and related events.

Other: Perform additional duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the department and the organization. This includes the possibility of being assigned temporarily to other locations.
