Job Description

We have immediate positions for a Hydraulic Systems Instructor Subject Matter Expert (equivalent background/skills with Air Force 2A6X5 Aircraft Hydraulic Systems) to develop courseware for the highly advanced F-15 SA Fighter Jet.  This late variant is the technically advanced version of the one of the world’s most successful fighter aircraft. Subject Matter Experts will develop courseware lessons that will be part of a comprehensive development effort, focusing on all maintenance courseware to address all functional systems on the aircraft.  Subject Matter Experts will join a collaborative team of additional Subject Matter Experts, Graphics Designers/Artists, Courseware Developers and Technical Writers, to build Instructional Courseware for the F-15 SA.

 

Subject Matter Experts will draw on intrinsic experience with the aircraft and technical documentation and manuals to build courseware lessons.  They will work alongside the graphics team to additionally propose and direct input to define graphics that will be associated with the specific lessons being developed.

Qualifications

Hydraulic Systems Subject Matter Expert will have had past experience maintaining aircraft hydraulic systems and SE.  Would have determined maintenance procedures and performance characteristics using technical publications. Diagnosed malfunctions and recommended and provided corrective action. 


Performed maintenance on aircraft hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and testing; repaired, overhauled, replaced, and adjusted malfunctioning components.

Inspected aircraft hydraulic systems, components and SE.  Performed system operational checks. Stored, handled, used, and disposed of hazardous material and waste according to environmental standards.

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience as a technical instructor highly desired. 
  • Recent F-15E/ F-15K, or F-15SG preferred.
  • Possess and provide proof of Equivalent 7 Level Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

Additional Information

A secret clearance will be required.  Active secret clearance preferred, with ability to obtain an interim secret required.
