Job Description – ETL Testing 

· Work as part of a team to test DWH/BI ODS AND/OR Reports 

· Create test plan and align it with overall scope 

· Design and create test cases based on business requirements 

· Execute test cases by identifying correct source(up-stream) data 

· Raise Defects on time and should bring them to closure when it meets business requirements 

· Raise Issues/Risks on-time and work with test lead to bring them to closure 

Behavioral Competencies: 

· Communicate effectively within the team, site and with the customer 

· Collaborate with site and other lateral groups 

· Consult when necessary with relevant parties, raise timely risks 

· Ability to stretch respective working hours when necessary, to support business needs 

· Ability to work independently and drive issues to closure 

Technical Requirements: 

· Must have strong knowledge of SQL and Unix 

· Should be familiar with databases – Oracle/Teradata 

· Must have Working knowledge on QC/Rally tool 

· Should have working knowledge on test plan and test strategy 

· Report knowledge (Cognos, Business Object, MicroStrategy) will be added advantage 

· Theoretical/Practical knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica/DataStage will be added advantage
