Job Description

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to fulfil a new vacancy for an ongoing project. This new role will deal with several initiatives for an existing team that is developing and maintaining the eCommerce worldwide Platform of one of the top 3 food and beverage companies in the world.

 What is this all about?

  • Develop and maintain DevOps pipelines, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and infrastructure as code (IaC), focusing on Security.
  • Implement and define security practices across our infrastructure and applications (vulnerability management, access controls, compliance monitoring, )
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in code.
  • Automate security testing and compliance checks as part of the DevOps pipeline.
  • Stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, and develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Participate in incident response and management activities, including root cause analysis and remediation.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for security and compliance procedures and processes.
  • Mentor Platform teams in the topics related to security best practices.

Qualifications

Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or related field, with a strong focus on security.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and virtualization technologies (e.g., Azure, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Ansible.
  • Strong knowledge of security controls and best practices, including network security, access controls, and vulnerability management.
  • Experience with security testing tools
  • Experience with Static Code Analysis tools
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
  • Proficiency in IaC development. Extensive experience with Terraform is a must.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent level of English (C1/C2).
  • Excellent communication skills with different stakeholders.
  • Capable to manage complex situations.
  • Leadership to guide teams face to face and remotely.
  • Strong experience on Agile Methodologies (Scrum).
