Job Description

SPEAR Physical Therapy is looking to hire an energetic Marketing Coordinator to work in a fun, fast paced health services environment! The Marketing Coordinator will be the face of SPEAR by building, enhancing and maintaining relationships with our physicians and community.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating and maintaining relationships with doctors; providing them with up to date information about SPEARs new programs, locations, staff members and community outreach involvement.

• Working as a liaison between medical offices and clinical directors to help facilitate communication by setting up meetings, shadowing, observation opportunities and lunches.

• Ensuring we are on the top of each physicians referring list of trusted physical therapy companies.

• Keeping promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with team members; inventorying stock and placing orders.

• This is a boot-strap position that entails quite a bit of walking around the city to different physician offices

Success Factors

• Have 40 quality interactions with referral sources (doctors or key referring employees) every week.

• Coordinate, organize and plan a physician - therapist in person meeting at least 2 times a month

• Update physician’s accounts in tracking system (significant news, name, demographic info, office staff comments) within 1 day of any changes/updates.

• Run internal reports at least 2 times a week & formulate marketing plans accordingly.

• Immediately address and resolve any concerns a physician’s office has by end of same business

• Communicate with SPEAR’s clinical directors by phone, email, or in person at least 2 times a month to strategize or discuss issues. .

• Inquire about any new therapists and make a point to meet them within 2 weeks of employment.

• Check email minimum of 4 times a day and always respond within 24 hours


Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, marketing/advertising or related field

• Experience interacting with medical professionals

• Prior sales/marketing experience in other industry’s will be considered

Strong communication skills and the desire to build solid and authentic relationships are a must!
