Job Description

**This is a part-time or consultant position**

 

Instill program and product management best-practices and a culture of operational excellence to guide successful execution from mission, technical and business perspectives. Participate in formulation and refinement of Division strategy and in implementation, allocation, and flowdown across Division Business Areas – optimizing structural and execution aspects of the organization in line with the strategy. Manage the Division's new business pipeline to ensure company business development and capture processes are properly followed. Monitor, forecast, and meet annual business plan financial targets, growth objectives, and technical performance objectives.

Lead and/or support strategic or complex business captures and proposals across the Division, to include interfacing with customers, developing technical concepts and solutions, assessing risk, preparing and presenting gate reviews, and developing sound basis of estimates. Coordinate and conduct meetings with customer, clients, competitors, and teammates in support of strategic company business pursuits and client assessments. Conduct or oversee after-action reviews of all business opportunities to document lessons learned and identify necessary process adjustments. Create annual performance goals for Division employees, generate annual performance assessments, and participate in annual salary and bonus planning. Perform recruitment and redeployment planning. Oversee employees training and career development providing mentorship and leadership across the entire organization technical and programmatic teams. Perform succession planning and development. Perform internal company outreach to establish technology needs and transition opportunities with technical and business leadership from major groups.

Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with critical collaboration partners outside the company – establishing teaming arrangements, joint pursuits, and suggesting M&A opportunities and initiatives. Communicate Division-wide and program/portfolio specific objectives and status to a wide audience of stakeholders including Division and Group management and company technical and business leadership executive team. Demonstrated track record of business strategic execution and business growth. ~ Experience in managing S&T and Contract Research and Development type programs, with evidence of executing large, complex programs, including Earned Value Management System (EVMS) programs. ~ Evidence of writing successful large, complex proposals. ~ Current Top Secret security clearance or higher; MS or BA/BS with equivalent experience and 15+ years of prior relevant experience in business management, program management, engineering, and business development or Masters with 10+ years or prior relevant experience. ~10+ years managing highly technical programs in a relevant technical or business domain – managing cost, schedule, and technical aspects. ~ Demonstrated experience with generating new business in a relevant technical or business domain including follow-on growth to existing projects and establishment of strong customer relationships. ~ Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law. Qualifications

Required:
* Bachelors degree in business mathematics, computer science, or other related field.
* Active TS/SCI security clearance

Desired:
* Strong technical breadth and depth in support of the government markets and in particular in government Compute and Storage solution design, implementation, operations, and modernization with associated cyber network defense solutions.
