Provides technical leadership and is responsible for establishing the direction for the IT architecture, standards, design and implementation approaches for the company’s application systems and/or infrastructure. Creates, evaluates and implements plans and design proposals for high impact IT solutions and their use involving leading edge technologies and methods considering key factors such as their long-term effectiveness (service delivery and cost), practicality, technical limitations and criticality. Leads or contributes to designs applied to all aspects of business systems and/or infrastructure prototypes and eventual implementation. Performs work of high complexity and derives logical processes based on technical platforms. Engages in performance/integration testing, problem analysis, business and technical analysis. Possesses broad and deep skills across disciplines, serving as a mentor to others. Job focus is on supporting internal company programs and operations. May be internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions. May include company-wide, web-enabled solutions.

Required:
* Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, business management, or other related field.
* Active TS/SCI clearance

Desired:
* Experience working with Big Data, Machine Learning, and Cloud Computing including the design and automation of IaaS and PaaS capabilities. 
* Experience designing, developing, and maintaining applications spanning multiple security enclaves.
* Experience designing and developing of cloud-native scaled out and distributed applications that leverage micro-service architecture.
* Experience applying software engineering, software architecture, or other related discipline on a large and complex software project. 
* Experience utilizing Agile Principles, Frameworks, and Tools.
