SOF Intelligence Solutions, LLC is a Professional Services firm operating in the National Capital Region.  We provide a wide range of consulting, strategic planning, mission support staffing and Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) focused on Special Operations, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and the Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) community.

To provide Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS) to support AFSEC Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) and other aviation safety programs with disciplines consistent with the AFSEC Aviation Safety Division (AFSEC/SEF) roles and responsibilities. Provide RPA and other aviation system safety expertise for AFSEC staff, Safety Investigation Boards (SIB), and System Safety groups (SSG).

• At least 5 years military (preferably United States Air Force (USAF)) aviation experience as aircrew or maintenance.
• Have achieved at least 7-Level (experience on MQ-9 or RQ-4 aircraft is highly desired)
• ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Have an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate with 7 years of experience on MQ-9 or RQ-4 aircraft.  
• The RPA/Aviation Maintenance SME must have at least 5 years of military aircraft maintenance experience (flight line or Quality Assurance)
• Achieved at least 7-Level (or equivalent); OR have an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate with 7 years of experience working with military aircraft.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Provide RPA and other aviation system safety expertise for AFSEC staff, Safety Investigation Boards (SIB), and System Safety groups (SSG).
• Relevant databases and other computer resources include, but are not limited to: Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS), Joint Technical Data Integration (JTDI) to include IETMs, AFSAS, Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS), Navy JASPER soft, Army Risk Management Information System (RMIS), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet), and Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Manager (SUSMAN).
