Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Project Controller to join our Project Controls Team (IFMS) in a full time, permanent role based at our Balcatta Support Centre.

Within Western Australia, Sodexo is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and refurbishment of non-process infrastructure to clients within the mining and oil & gas sector. Sodexo plays a critical role in ensuring the resource sector can operate by providing quality catering, hospitality, and facilities maintenance services.

The successful applicant will be a self-motivated, highly organised professional that can collaboratively work with the Project Team to prepare project cost sheets, monitoring and following up project costs, supporting with monthly billing process, creating purchase requisitions/ orders and   undertaking monthly project analysis tasks.

Training will be provided but a proactive attitude to work and learning is needed. This role would suit a recent finance Graduate or an experienced Financial Administrator that is looking to take the next step in their career.

 

Qualifications

  • Degree and/or experience in finance will be beneficial
  • Advanced user of the Microsoft Excel is highly regarded
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work to and commit to deadlines
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Able to communicate effectively
