Job Description

Sodexo are seeking a Transport Planner & Scheduler to support our Transport Management Services portfolio located in our Balcatta Support Centre.

Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will manage Transport activities to support the RTIO roster de-escalation, ensure planning and scheduling of work schedules are delivered and completed to standard and ensure timely delivery of Key Performance Indicators.\
Key to this role will be the  management of the relationships of subcontractor companies, while enhancing safety and compliance of said companies operating within the Sodexo IFMS Mass Transport portfolio. Role will encompass optimisation of existing services and improving current processes.  

Qualifications

To be successful, you’ll need:    

  • Experience within the road transport industry, in particular mass transport movement of people preferred.
  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in subcontractor management.
  • Demonstrated experience in transport scheduling, preferably using the CRM Scheduling platform.
  • Preferred knowledge of Guardian Safer Driver Fatigue Monitoring System.
  • Preferred experience in innovation and process improvement.
  • Experience of mine site operations preferred – regular site travel will be an expectation of this role.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and administration with a sound understanding of general forms of contract including Australian standards
  • Strong analytic, commercial, and modeling skills with attention to details
  • Demonstrated ability in meeting deadlines and establishing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • At least 3 years’ experience within the resources sector
